The-Rehumanisation-Station
This podcast underpins my Flippin' and Vibin' brand to flip the script on traditional or normative narratives creating inequity to the self, society, sport, education, the arts & culture, as with many other disciplines. My podcast covers two strands of groups who look to flip the script in their career, research, activism and sport through (i) hearing the voices and stories of academics, educators, community activists, students, organizational heads etc., while on the other hand covering (ii) people involved within sport (e.g., athletes, trainers, coaches).

'Ball has given me life' with Harriet Otteswill-Soulsby
In this episode, I speak with our multifaceted sport Viber Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby. Harriet majored in International Affairs and German with a minor in Africana Studies, while competing as an NCAA Division One student athlete. After graduating Harriet knew she hadn’t finished with education and returned to the UK to achieve her dream of being a student at Durham and further pursue both her academic and athletic goals.
Harriet’s M.A. in International Relations from Durham, along with her international upbringing, gave her the confidence to pursue a career overseas in the field of Education while also playing professional basketball. Currently, she plays for Durham Palatinates and Team Great Britain.
Please tune in and vibe with Harriet and I on how (i) a successful basketball career, (ii) a diverse lived experience and (iii) appreciating the moments in life, instil confidence and appreciation over time.
