This podcast underpins my Flippin' and Vibin' brand to flip the script on traditional or normative narratives creating inequity to the self, society, sport, education, the arts & culture, as with many other disciplines. My podcast covers two strands of groups who look to flip the script in their career, research, activism and sport through (i) hearing the voices and stories of academics, educators, community activists, students, organizational heads etc., while on the other hand covering (ii) people involved within sport (e.g., athletes, trainers, coaches).

In this episode, Steph Hunter, an Independent Social Worker, Trainer, lecturer and researcher, Keynote Speaker, Therapist. Her career to date has been drive by a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities, particularly in the realms of trauma and safeguarding. Stephanie is passionate about empowering others through education and support, and skilled supervision equipping them with the tools they need to navigate complex emotional landscapes.
Steph and I vibe about her background and work around shifting and broadening the nature of trauma-informed approaches. Focusing on the individual and interpersonal level, whilst understanding the causes from a structural level.
